How About French Ticklers? Are They Okay?

After pressure from the Vatican, the Spanish Catholic Church has reversed its position on the use of condoms. The bad news is that Catholics still cannot use condoms to prevent the spread of the HIV virus. The goods news is that sexual abuse by Catholic priests is still permitted. Source

So... if the condom, within the normal paramaters of its use, prevents the transmission of HIV (or any other ailment), does that constitute a sin? I mean, if the person who didn't know s/he was infected used one, and thus prevented the spread of the virus, is this against the laws of the Church?

Hmmm...

No, it's not a sin. But when you die, before they let you into heaven they put your pee-pee on a table and whack it with a ruler.

It just goes to show how things have changed. In the 50's, the pope said jump, and american and european catholics said how high? Now, they say, you first.

I think it's great!

But in a happy Catholic World, a person waits for marriage to have sex. Thus marrying another virgin who shouldn't have the Aids Virus. Then you wouldn't need condoms because God wants you to have at least 10 children.

Like I said, Happy Catholic World. I wonder what temperature it is there.

~making fun of, or poking fun at sexual abuse (of children) is deplorable, even if your target is the Catholic Church...you should be ashamed of yourself and your words~

You are correct, there is nothing funny about sexual abuse. But this posting is a jab at the Catholic church for allowing so many years of abuse to be tolerated. It's called satire--look it up. Anyone who reads this blog thoroughly is bound to be offended by something; only those with a truly developed sense of humor will survive intact. Life is too short to be so serious. Lighten up a little--you'll be glad you did.
