If You're a Convicted Murderer and Need a Job, Try the State of Nebraska--They're Hiring

The man convicted of murdering Dian Fossey, famed wildlife researcher and subject of the movie Gorillas In the Mist, has a brand new job--as overseer of a mental health office in Nebraska. Wayne Richard McGuire was convicted in absentia by a Rwanda court for Fossey's 1985 murder but never served time because the United States has no extradition agreement with that country. Is this really the kind of person Nebraska wants to take care of their lunatics and nut-jobs? Source

Comments:
Rather, this article and the debate behind is due to irresponsible research. Further investigation will show that this man was falsely convicted of Fossey's murder, and the U.S. government does not recognize the murder. The FBI has been working on the case for a while and their recent findings point to another man who Fossey wanted Fossey dead. She was getting ready to inform the public of this man's poaching

and of his other illegal activities. The man Nebraska was going to hire stayed after Fossey's murder and tried to keep her research going, until the U.S. government advised him that he should get out. The man that the FBI believes murdered Fossey has since died in jail. He was the brother-in-law of the former president? of Rwanda who was pushed out.
